The Green Knight (R) Fantasy – Dev Patel puts his head on the block in an atmospheric, overlong retelling of the Arthurian legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Comparable in some ways to John Boorman’s Excalibur (1981, R), but it also makes the odd nod to Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975, PG). In theaters and on pay-per-view.
Apocalypse ’45 (not rated) Documentary – Three short color films made during World War II (Ford At Pearl, To the Shores of Iwo Jima and The Last Bomb) have been digitally restored. Total running time: 104 min. On DVD.
